Our Services

Eye Exams/Routine Care

We offer comprehensive eye care to evaluate eye health and vision quality. If you need prescription eyeglasses, we can prescribe them for you, or, if you prefer, we can help fit you with contact lenses.

Cataract Surgery

Cataract treatment can managed with prescription glasses, but sometimes requires surgery. Our doctors practice Small Incision Cataract Surgery which is proven to yield quicker healing time and better visual results. What are cataracts?

Glaucoma Treatment

Glaucoma can be treated with eye drops, medication, or laser surgery. When working with patients with a glaucoma diagnosis, our goal is to prevent vision loss, as vision loss from glaucoma is irreversible. What is glaucoma?

Macular Degeneration (AMD)

Macular Degeneration is a common age-related eye disease. We encourage all patients over age 65 to come in for a yearly comprehensive eye exam to prevent permanent damage age-related eye diseases. Treatment for macular degeneration varies depending on type and severity. What is AMD?

Laser Vision Correction

Laser vision correction is an extremely safe, quick and virtually painful procedure to correct vision problems such as mild to moderate nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism.

Diabetic Eye Disease

Our doctors will help you find the proper treatment to prevent or manage Diabetic Eye Disease. Early detection from routine eye exams are recommended anyone suffering from diabetes to prevent permanent vision loss and eye damage.

Our Doctors

Dr. Patrick Sciortino

Patrick Sciortino, MD is a board certified Ophthalmologist with 25 years experience. He is currently Chief of Ophthalmology at the NY Community Hospital. Dr. Sciortino has served as President and Program Chairman of the Brooklyn Ophthalmological Society as well as a clinical instructor of Ophthalmology at the Downstate Medical School and the Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Sciortino has been chosen by Castle Connolly as a top doctor in the Metropolitan area for 10 years in a row.

Dr. Stephen Oddo

Dr. Oddo attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine and graduated in 1989 having 23 years experience. Additional Ophthalmology training was conducted at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.
